SOLD! Thank you! 1900's plains Indians beaded buffalo foot pattern mocassins. Excellent pair of beaded mocassins from the Easton estate who's family lived in North Dakota and Kansas area at the turn of the 20th century and collected Sioux and other plains tribes artifacts. These are brain tanned, stitched with thread not sinew uppers are deer hide with much tougher steer hide soles. 9 3/4" long 4'' wide and 4 1/2" tall. Beadwork is mesmerizing in that each bead is handcut and irregular and becomes more intricate the closer you look.All beadwork and stitching is intact- Excellent original pair of plains mocassins in fantastic shape.
